The log gazebo was originally built with no top but because of the need for shade and an intimate setting, our friends Bob and Nulberto helped weld a top for wisteria to climb. The gazebo is a wonderful area to gather and has proven to be a popular location for wedding ceremonies.

Our fireplace is constructed with cinder blocks with a stucco overlay. The arched opening challenged Eldon's engineering skills, but Aggie ingenuity prevailed and all is still standing! We spent about 2 months collecting ideas and working on a design that would reveal Arts and Crafts Style with a Tuscany flavor. We expected this project to be completed in 3 weeks and towards the end of 4 months we built our first fire!

John returned to Texas only 2 weeks ago from his 3rd tour to Iraq. He and his wife Libby stayed at Las Brisas Farm on the Texas Veteran Project to celebrate their 2nd wedding anniversary. While here they renewed their vows in a formal wedding celebration. Friends from Ft. Hood and new friends from Fayetteville witnessed this joyous event; it was a beautiful, intimate wedding.
